Gas central heating upgrade works in tenants’ homes
In order to make tenants’ homes more energy efficient and comfortable to live in we are in the process of replacing old style electric storage heating with gas central heating. In properties where this isn’t possible we are fitting alternative effective electric heating systems.
In the last two years our gas heating upgrade team has successfully installed 400 systems and aims to install a further 1,100 over the next five years.
The whole process is taken care of by Hillcrest from start to finish:
- Gas supply and meter are arranged.
- Decant from property is organised by Hillcrest staff.
- Gas heating fitted.
- A follow up visit will be scheduled to make sure there are no issues.
The feedback we’ve had from tenants is excellent and the team are always polite and helpful.
