We recognise the people we employ remain our greatest asset and this encourages us to offer opportunities for our staff to learn and develop new skills.
Training is an important part of work. We have a dedicated learning and development team to ensure staff meet the requirements of the Scottish Council for Social Services and the Care Inspectorate.
Hillcrest Futures is an approved centre with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and we pay for staff to undertake training including SVQ 2, 3 and 4. As well as the core training we offer project and service user specific training.
Internal progression and promotion is encouraged and there are opportunities to progress within the organisation.
Accredited with Investors in People Gold we are an equal opportunities employer. We offer all staff at least 32 days annual leave rising to 37 after 5 years.
Annually we host a reward and recognition ceremony celebrating qualifications and learning achievements obtained throughout the year.
In addition to the above, we offer:
- a health plan;
- a pension;
- a social fund; and
- access to a savings plan.
