Dave Ritchie steps down from Hillcrest Enterprises’ board after 11 years

Posted: September 24, 2020

After over a decade’s involvement on Hillcrest Enterprises’ board of committee, Dave Ritchie recently retired from his role.

Dave joined the board back in 2009 when Hillcrest Enterprises was known as Northern Housing Company.

Fiona Morrison, Hillcrest’s deputy chief executive commented that: “As a former rent officer with the Scottish Government’s Rent Registration Service, Dave is extremely knowledgeable in all things rent with a good current grasp on the market, particularly with mid-market rents.”

Hillcrest Enterprises provides housing at discounted mid-market rents, a scheme to help working households on modest incomes access high quality, affordable rented accommodation.

Fiona continued: “Dave has several years of non-executive board member experience, with Hillcrest Enterprises being just one of the voluntary board positions he held over recent times.

“This kind of expertise is hard to come by and Dave’s valuable contribution as a board member will be greatly missed.”

To mark Dave’s departure and thank him for all of his contributions, Hillcrest Enterprises’ chairperson Wendy Johnston and Hillcrest Enterprises’ director Stuart Dow delivered flowers to him at his home in Dundee.
