Helping to reduce inequalities, isolation and improve health and wellbeing across Scotland
Over the past ten years, Hillcrest has distributed more than £1.7 million to help improve the lives of individuals and communities experiencing financial hardship or other disadvantages across Scotland. Community is at the heart of everything we do.
Our mission
The Hillcrest Foundation’s goal is to improve people’s lives and create positive futures.
The Foundation enables Hillcrest to have a focused strategy for supporting individuals and communities by providing relief to those who need it most. Recognised as an anchor organisation in Scotland, we work in collaborative partnerships to ensure support is provided where it is most needed.
Our work strengthens and amplifies people’s voices and their power to make change and our Board of Trustees is ambitious, energetic, and effective. They work together to ensure they maximise the impact of the Hillcrest Foundation.
Our objectives
The Foundation’s objectives are:
- To contribute to wider, social, economic and environmental wellbeing
- To offer training, educational, employment and recreational opportunities
- To create positive differences to the lives of others
- To strengthen links between charitable organisations, community groups and individuals within our areas of operation
