Hillcrest Shortlisted for Best Housing Association Award

Sixty companies from across Scotland have progressed to the final stages of the largest ever Scottish home Awards and Hillcrest is delighted to be one of them.

Hillcrest Housing Association is shortlisted in the Large Housing association of the year category along with Castle Rock Edinvar, Dumfries and Galloway Partnership and Shettleston Housing Association.

Judges in the programme which is sponsored by ros.gov.uk, EKCO and Ross + Liddell, met last week to deliberate the merits of each entry with each one marked against a range of criteria.

The panel was chaired by Raymond Young OBE, former chair of Architecture and Design Scotland and judge in the Scottish Home Awards since 2009.

A spokesperson for the judging panel commented;

"The popularity of the Scottish Home Awards continues without question. There was a wide range of entries this year and we noticed particular growth in entries from the affordable housing sector.

“There will be some surprises on the night, but we're pleased with our decisions and confident that we have very worthy winners."

The winners will be announced on 9th June.
