Homestake Housing at Hillcrest
Hillcrest Housing Association has new build, two bedroomed properties in Edinburgh city centre, available for entry in April. The properties will be available to households wishing to buy through Homestake.
• Would you like to own your home in Edinburgh?
• Are you a first time buyer?
• Do you earn up to £22,000 (single) or £32,541 (couple)?
• Are you looking to get a foot on the property ladder?
• Alternatively are you a home owner whose life circumstances have changed and your home no longer meets your needs?
• Would you like Hillcrest to help you?
The Homestake Initiative is specifically aimed at helping people who would like to buy their own homes but cannot afford to pay the full price. A 'Homestake' owner will generally pay for between 60 and 80% of the price of a property with the balance being held by Hillcrest Housing Association using 'Homestake' grant funding. You will own the property outright and will have a 60-80% stake in its capital value.
