Edinburgh Housing Roles
Area Housing Manager Edinburgh- Steve Kell
Steve manages the Housing Services teams based across Edinburgh. He has overall responsibility for the delivery of housing management services for all our properties in Edinburgh.
Operations Manager- Gill Binnie
Gill's main duties are to provide a supportive role to the team's Community Housing Officers and Housing Advice Assistants. She is responsible for overseeing the housing management activities of the team including allocations, rent arrears, neighbour disputes, and estate management.
Housing Advice Officer- Susan Laing
Susan is based in the Edinburgh office and is the Housing Advice Officer for Edinburgh. Susan works closely with the community housing officers and assists with interviews, new tenancy sign ups and general housing matters. Susan also line manages the Housing assistants within the Edinburgh office.
Community Housing Officers- Lindsay Hart
Our Community Housing Officers are responsible for managing the estates and areas in which you live. They make sure that conditions set down in the tenancy agreement are kept to and are responsible for dealing with more serious anti-social behaviour complaints and carrying out rent arrears visits.
Maintenance Officers- Sandy Milne
Our Maintenance Officers are responsible for day to day responsive repairs service and the monitoring of contractors performance. They are also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our estates and ensuring areas are kept in good condition.
