Dundee Housing Roles
Housing Strategy and Performance Manager- Pete Marshall
Pete manages the Housing Services team based at our Dundee Office. He has overall responsibility for providing a comprehensive housing management service throughout Dundee.
Operations Managers- Debbie Johnston and Gillian White
Our Operations Manager's main duties are to provide a supportive role to the team's Community Housing Officers and Housing Advice Assistants. He is responsible for overseeing the housing management activities of the team including allocations, rent arrears, neighbour disputes, and estate management.
Housing Advice Officers- Caroline Walker and Nicola Atkinson
Our Housing Advice Officer/team is office based and offers an “immediate response” service with staff on hand to offer advice to anyone who calls or visits the office. They can discuss and offer advice on any tenancy issues such as neighbour complaints, sub-letting applications, provide information about terminating your tenancy or rehousing advice.
The Housing Advice Officer will assist the Community Housing Officers with a number of administrative duties and also have the necessary authority to make “on-the-spot” decisions.
Housing Advice Officer (Rent)- Elaine Jackson
Elaine manages a team of four Housing Advice Assistants who deal with arrears cases owing lesser amounts, and who provide advice to tenants on their rent, housing benefit and re-payment agreements.
Elaine’s main task is to monitor serious rent arrears cases which may include arranging legal notices and court action, preparing papers for, and attending court. She provides advice and information to tenants seeking to address their rent arrears and can signpost tenants to a range of other agencies who can also assist.
Community Housing Officers- Ben Gibson, Hazel Kydd, Alison Skene and Ryan Wilson
Our Community Housing Officers are responsible for managing the estates and areas in which you live. They make sure that conditions set down in the tenancy agreement are kept to and are responsible for dealing with more serious anti-social behaviour complaints and carrying out rent arrears visits.
Maintenance Officers- Alex Richardson and Malcolm Scott
Our Maintenance Officers are responsible for day to day responsive repairs service and the monitoring of contractors performance. They are also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our estates and ensuring areas are kept in good condition.
