Award Winning Staff at Gowrie
Gowrie Care, part of the Hillcrest Group, recognised the contribution and achievements of a number of their staff today at their first Annual Recognition Awards Ceremony. Held at The West Park Conference Centre, Gowrie Care staff were awarded with certificates and presentation gifts to mark their achievements from throughout the year. These achievements included SVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and The Registered Mangers Award.
Gowrie Care promotes a positive learning culture and as such has developed a dedicated Training and Development Team to help employees realise their potential and encourage personal and professional development. Max Gallagher, Training and Development Manager, says that “by encouraging the development of our staff we are improving the level of service given to our service users. Our SVQ training programme is well under way and we are looking forward to holding many more successful events like the one we’ve had today.”
One of the employees being recognised at todays awards ceremony was delighted to be having her hard work recognised in such a way. “The ceremony was great and being recognised like this makes me realise what I’ve achieved and that it’s not going unnoticed by my employer.”
