Apprenticeship Programme Here to Stay
Our apprenticeship training programme has now been running for 4 years and the first batch of apprentices will all complete the programme over the next couple of months. We were always confident that the programme would produce good quality trades people for the construction industry and now it’s official.
The programme is assessed by Scottish Building Apprenticeship and Training Council and had originally been awarded pilot status to see how things went. They have recently reassessed the programme and have now removed the programme’s ‘pilot’ status. They said they were “very impressed with the success of the training programme and as such are delighted to withdraw the ‘Pilot’ status from the scheme”.
This approval of our training programme will give us greater confidence for the future of the programme and may also allow us to look to develop and expand the programme in other areas.
This is a great achievement for the company and is the result of four years of hard work by the training team, and the apprentices themselves.
