SIlver SHAW Award
Hillcrest Housing Association has gained the Scottish Health at Work (SHAW) silver award. Alister Robertson (Hillcrest Chairperson) and Pam Law (Hillcrest SHAW Group Member) were presented with the award at a ceremony at Dundee Kingsway College last week by Aileen Simpson, Assistant Strategic Director with Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives. 30 organisations were being presented with awards and only 10 of these were silver. This was the last ceremony by SHAW which is now being replaced by Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives.
John Mulloy, Hillcrest Group Chief Executive, praised the dedication and hard work put in by Hillcrest’s SHAW group and staff. “A big congratulations to the SHAW group – Pam Law, Linda Moore, Ben Gibson, Elaine Jackson, Alison Skene, Gillian Cairncross, Martin Crombie and Jane Ling. Due to their dedication and hard work we can claim to be one of the first Housing Association’s in Scotland to achieve this silver award. We hope that staff continue to be as positive and take part in the various SHAW activities when we go for gold.”
