Recognising Excellence
The Hillcrest Group of Companies recognised the contribution and achievements of a number of their staff today at their Annual Recognition Awards Ceremony. The ceremony, now in its third year, has grown to include staff from 3 of the companies in the Hillcrest Group – Hillcrest Housing Association, Gowrie Care and Hillcrest Enterprises.
Nearly 40 members of staff attended the ceremony in the West Park Centre and were presented with certificates and presentation gifts by guest speaker Marcia Ramsay, Acting Director of Adult Services with the Scottish Care Commission.
John Mulloy, Hillcrest Group Chief Executive, commented that “There is a great emphasis being placed by the Hillcrest Group to explain, promote and practice the principles of a learning organisation. We have invested in a dedicated internal learning and development team and access to essential qualification training is available as is support with external qualifications. By investing in and developing our staff we can improve the level of service given to our customers. We look forward to holding many more successful events like todays.”
The achievements recognised today ranged from SVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care to Admin SVQ 2 and 3 to the Diploma in Housing. Steve Kell, one of the staff recognised was delighted to have his hard work noticed. He commented that “I am proud of what I have achieved and to have it noticed by my employer is extremely rewarding.”
