Back To Work Survival Guide
In conjunction with the wider role services on offer through Hillcrest Housing Association, the Making Money Work project has just launched a back to work survival guide. Funded by the Dundee Partnership and the European Social Fund, the guide provides information and advice to people in Dundee trying to get into employment, training or education.
Joy Watson, Hillcrest’s Wider Role Co-ordinator, commented that “it is often a big financial step for people to try and get back into work or education and this free survival guide will offer plenty of useful advice to help ease the strain.”
The guide will specifically offer information on financial planning, how the change will affect benefits or tax credits, debit management and issues surrounding banking.
Making Money Work can also make referrals to other agencies with regards to other issues such as eviction, representation at tribunals, legal advice and energy issues.
