Managing Director of Gowrie Care Damian has worked for Gowrie Care since 1997, first with Gowrie Housing Association as Assistant Director for Community Care and after Gowrie Care's merger with Hillcrest Housing Association in 2003, as Managing Director of Gowrie Care Limited. He is responsible for the overall day to day management and strategic development of Gowrie Care Limited, reporting to the Chief Executive of the Hillcrest Group and the Board of Gowrie Care limited. |

Area Manager- Dundee & Angus Chris has been with Gowrie since May 2008. She is the Area Manager for Dundee and Angus and manages a total of 16 projects across this geographical area. Her main responsibilities are to direct line management of a team of 6 unit managers. Ensuring continuous improvement in practice and development across services. Liaising with external and internal partners to ensure the smooth running of contracts. Implementation of new services. Ensuring compliance with legislative requirement from Health and Safety, Care Commission SSSC etc. Chris' specialist area of expertise is Mental Health, she is also an ASIST Master Trainer (Applied Suicide Intervention Techniques). |

Area Manager- Edinburgh & Glasgow Graeme has worked for what is now Gowrie Care for nearly 18 years and currently works as the Area Manager covering services in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He manages Gowrie Care’s accommodation based and outreach services to people who are or have been homeless across Edinburgh and Glasgow. The thirteen services he manages work with around 350 service users at any one time. The majority of Graeme's work has been with people who are or have been homeless. He started working for Gowrie Care as a part time support worker in the old style hostel accommodation in Edinburgh. During this time Graeme worked in, and managed, street based services to people who are homeless, services to people living in their own homes and supported accommodation services. |

Area Manager- Perth, Kinross and Fife Alan came to Gowrie Care in 2001 having previously held posts with another national social care provider and in the NHS. As the Area Manager for Perth, Kinross and Fife, he holds responsibility for a total of 9 projects from Alyth in the north to Dunfermline in the south, Cupar in the east to Crieff in the west. As with the other Area Managers, Alan's main responsibilities are the direct line management of a team of 6 Unit Managers. National Standards for Care Commission, Scottish Social Services Council, Health and Safety and Legislative Requirements underpin our practice and ethos. Consequently, he has responsibility for ensuring continuous development and improvement of our services in Perth, Kinross and Fife in line with national developments in care and support services. Alan is also responsible for working in partnership with local authority commissioners and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery in continuing to meet the needs of those we already provide services for and to develop services to meet future needs. Alan's specialist area lies in the field of learning disabilities; having trained as a learning disability nurse and had substantial experience, over the years working in a range of learning disability services in Scotland. His base is at the Gowrie Care/Hillcrest Office at Huntingtower Road Perth. |
