About Gowrie Care

Gowrie Care Ltd was formed in 2003 and is part of the Hillcrest Group of companies. We were formed following the merger of Gowrie Housing Association, Hillcrest Housing Association and Old Town Housing Association, who on average had 30 years experience each in this field. We are a registered charity and our aims contained in our Mission Statement are simple:

To improve the quality of life of our services users

We will do this by:

  • Providing flexible, creative, responsive and person centred services
  • Learning and development of our staff
  • Analyzing the values and principals laid down in our Vision Statement and the Codes of Practice of Gowrie Care and the Scottish Social Services Council
  • Ensuring quality accommodation in the community
  • Assisting to deliver employment and leisure activities to our service users

We currently support people who have a learning disability, mental health problems, people on the Autism Spectrum and people who are or have been homeless. Gowrie provide a wide range of person centred support, from internal 24 hour support to short term or minimal visiting support.
