Toolbox Angus
The Toolbox Programme’s primary aims are
- Offering young people a 26 week work placement with a local contractor/employer
- Ensuring that the young person is matched with the job of their choice
- Ensuring that by the end of the course the person is job ready
- Allowing employed personnel to take on the role of mentor and give trainees a positive introduction to the realities of work and its position and importance in a sustainable lifestyle
- Allowing the participants to gain better communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills in the work place
- Ensuring participants work the full placement hours
