Tenancy Sustainment Service Dundee, Angus, Fife and Perthshire
A partnership of 5 workers providing financial inclusion support to people who have been homeless or at a risk of homelessness. This can be new tenants or existing tenants.
Funded from Dundee Partnership and the Scottish Government Wider Role Fund. The project it is open to anyone in Dundee and is not restricted to socially rented properties.
For the other local authority area the client group are those connected to Housing Associations who form part of the Tayside Wider Role Alliance. As well as one-to-one client support work group work is undertaken as part of the HEY project (Housing Education for Youth) which delivers financial capability training to secondary pupils in Dundee to help prevent homelessness.
Services to clients include:
• Income maximisation
• Benefits advice
• Accessing furniture
• Energy help – such as social tariffs
• Onward referrals for ongoing support

HEY Dundee
HEY Dundee is a homeless prevention programme currently delivered in secondary schools across the city to 4th year pupils. The interactive programme covers the advantages and disadvantages of staying at home and having your own place, budgeting for furniture and bills, tenancy management including antisocial behaviour and where to go/who can help.
It is a multi agency partnership between, Dundee City Council, Hillcrest Tenancy Sustainment Team, Home Scotland, Angus Housing Association, The Corner and Action for Children.
